Debris cleanup...

The mild temperatures and drier weather the past few days have allowed us to make some progress with the debris cleanup on the course.  The debris behind #8 green (near our weather station) is piled there to be burned when we are permitted to do so.  We acquired a burn permit from the city of Richmond this winter, but are restricted to burn only when conditions are suitable.  What exactly those conditions are is beyond me!  We must call the burning permit "hotline" every morning to see if we can or cannot burn; it is very rare that they allow us to.
